Most embeddable widgets put a technical person in the loop forever. Need a new headline? File a ticket. Want to swap an image? Email the designer. Fugte breaks that pattern: create a widget with built-in AI, a starter, or custom code, declare what is editable, and from then on the client, marketer, or founder tweaks it themselves through a clean no-code form. The name comes from German ( fügte means "added") because good interactive pieces should slot easily into the places people already work.

Why we built it
The same pattern kept showing up: the person who wants to change a widget (the copy, an image, a color) is rarely the person who can touch the code. Every small edit turns into a ticket, an email, or a wait. And adding something interactive to a site usually meant hiring a developer or settling for a clunky embed.
The Shopify section model nailed this for storefronts: a section is code plus schema, and the schema is what the merchant edits. We took that idea, added built-in AI so you can create without writing code at all, made it framework-agnostic, and put it on a static-served CDN so the result loads fast enough to embed anywhere.

How we build it
Fugte runs on a global serverless edge, so widgets can be served from data centers close to visitors, with managed storage for configuration and media. The editor is a purpose-built widget studio, with a familiar Shopify-style schema and an intuitive no-code customizer layered directly on top.
Every customized widget is precompiled at save time and deployed as an ultra-lightweight static HTML page on a global CDN. When someone loads the embed, no heavy editor engine has to boot up. That is why Fugte widgets can load quickly anywhere they are pasted on the web.
