Tools

See what is hidden in your image, and remove it.

Drop in a JPEG or PNG exported from Canva, a phone, or anywhere else. The tool lists the data stored inside the file and saves a copy without it. The pixels are copied as they are, not re-compressed, and the file stays on your device the whole time.

What it finds

The data a picture carries that you cannot see.

Location

GPS coordinates a phone camera writes into a photo. Anyone who downloads the file can read where it was taken.

Content credentials

A signed record of how the file was made. Some platforms read it to decide whether to show an AI label.

Camera and device data

Make, model, camera settings, and often the date and time.

Editing history

The tools and edits applied, written into the file by the editor that exported it.

Colour profile

Kept by default, because removing it can shift the colours. You can remove it if you want.

About the AI label

For work that was labelled wrong.

Using one AI feature in Canva, such as background removal or a stock element, can leave content credentials in the export, and some platforms then label the whole image as AI-made. Before cleaning, the tool asks which case you are in. If the image is substantially AI-generated, it leaves the credentials in place and only offers to remove location and camera data.
