The form above is the whole widget: a photo, a heading, and four questions. Full name and a yes-or-no answer are required. The party-size number and the open note are each a switch you can turn off, and picking No hides the party-size question, so a guest who cannot come is never asked how many seats to hold. Every label on it is text you write, which is how the wedding wording it ships with becomes your christening, your reunion, or your supper club.
The reason to embed a form rather than paste one is what happens in the fortnight after the invitations go out. The venue moves, the start time slips, the deadline needs another week. This widget is hosted, so you change the heading in Fugte and every page carrying the embed shows the new wording. Anything already printed that points at that page still resolves to the current version, because the page never changed, only what it is showing.

A photo, in four positions
Upload one image and put it above the form, to its left, to its right, or behind everything as a full background with the card floating over it. Background placement dims the photo behind a dark gradient so the text on top stays readable.
Four questions, two of them optional
Full name and a yes-or-no answer are always asked and always required. The party-size number and the open note are each a switch. Turn both off and you have a two-question form.
No hides the party size
When a guest picks No, the party-size question disappears rather than asking someone who is not coming how many seats they need. That is the only conditional rule in the form: the note field and the button stay as they are.
Replies land in your dashboard
Every submission is stored against the widget in Fugte and read from the Database tab. Email notification is on every plan including free, and by default it tells you a reply arrived without putting the guest's answers in your inbox.
Your wording, colors, and fonts
Heading, subheading, every field label, the button, and the message shown after someone submits are all text you write. Accent, text, card, and page colors, the corner radius, the maximum width, and separate heading and body fonts are all settings.
Change it after the invitations are printed
Editing happens in Fugte, not in your site. Add a line about parking, fix the date, soften the note prompt, and save. Every page the widget is embedded on serves the change without you touching the embed code or republishing the site.

How do I add an RSVP form to my website?
Start from this widget in Fugte, set your heading and your photo, and publish. Paste the hosted link or the iframe snippet into your page. Canva, Notion, Shopify, WordPress, and Webflow each have their own step-by-step guide on this page, because the click path is different on all five.
Can I put an RSVP form on my Canva site?
Yes. Canva has no code block, but its Embed element takes a link, and a Canva site renders static in-page embeds, which is what this is. Worth knowing before you build around it: floating buttons, sticky bars, and popups do not work on a Canva site. A form sitting in the page flow is unaffected.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. A guest opens the page, fills in the form, and submits. There is no sign-in, no app, and nothing to install. The account is yours, not theirs.
Where do the RSVP replies go?
Into a collection attached to the widget in Fugte, which you read from the Database tab. You also get an email when a reply arrives, on every plan including free. That email is content-free by default, so it tells you there is a new RSVP without putting the answers in your inbox, and you can switch it to include them.
How do I change the RSVP form after I have sent the invitations?
Open the widget in Fugte, change what you need, and save. Every page the embed sits on shows the new version, and anything printed that points at that page still works, because the address never changed. That is the difference between a hosted widget and a form whose code you pasted in: pasted code has to be replaced everywhere you put it.
Can I ask for meal choices or dietary requirements?
Not as it ships. This starter asks four questions: name, attending, party size, and an open note. Most hosts rename the note label to something like "Any allergies or dietary needs?" and collect it there. If you want meal choice as its own question with set options, that is a change to the widget rather than a setting you switch on, and Fugte builds widgets from a description, so you would ask for the field and have it added.
Does it collect email addresses or phone numbers?
No. There is no contact field in this starter, and that is worth knowing before you rely on it: if the venue changes and you need to reach the people who already replied, their answers alone will not give you a way to. Have the field added to the widget if that matters to your event, or ask for it in the note.
Should I use a hosted RSVP page with a QR code instead?
If you have no website, yes. For a printed invitation with nothing behind it, a hosted RSVP page that hands you a short link and a QR code is the better fit, and there are tools that do only that. Fugte makes the other kind: a form that lives on the event page you already built, in your colors, at your address. If that page exists, embedding beats sending guests somewhere else.
Is the RSVP form free?
Yes, with one limit worth knowing up front. The free plan runs one live form at a time, so an RSVP form takes that slot. Basic raises it to three and Creator to fifteen. Free widgets carry a small Fugte badge, which paid plans remove.
