How to Add a RSVP form to a Canva Website.

Canva's website builder has no custom-code block: raw HTML, JavaScript, and iframe snippets will not work on any plan. What Canva's Embed element does accept is a URL. So the way to get a RSVP form onto a Canva page is to host the widget outside Canva and paste its link in.

What the RSVP form needs from the embed.

The questions are fixed, so the form does not grow while a guest reads it, but its height changes twice: picking No drops the party-size question, and the thank-you message replaces the form once someone submits. Size the Canva box against the form as it first loads, which is the tallest of the three states.

Photo to the left or right is a two-column layout that stacks into one column once the card is narrower than about 520px. It stacks on the width of the frame, not the width of the visitor's screen, so a narrow column on a wide desktop page stacks too. For a sidebar-width embed, choose the Top or Background placement rather than expecting the columns to hold.

Background placement floats the card over a full-bleed photo and holds the widget to at least 420px tall, so it is the one placement that will not fit a short box. Top placement is the shortest, since the photo is a wide band above the card rather than beside or behind it.
